Another Busy Day

Today, at...
We moved ALOT of barley. We emptied 5 bins into our bin ring so that we could fill them (the bins) again.

Josh and I filled the trucks, we used the auger and the grain vac.

Then once the trucks were full off they would go to the unloading place.

There Dad, Jen and Kerri would unload them and make sure the grain was filling the ring evenly.
We finished at 10:30, got the tarp out and covered it, and went to bed, past my bed time. :)
Now the barley should be safe and dry till next Spring when we empty it, and that's another story. :)

Guess What Team Andrew Is Cheering For...

Each week when the Blue Bombers play football Andy gets all dressed up and excited to go watch them at Grammy's house. I think he is the cutest fan I have ever seen!!

Two Years Ago...

Two years ago today the love of my life asked me to marry him!! It was nearly as exciting for me as getting married since Josh and I had only started courting 2 weeks earlier.
I remember that day so well, Josh came over in the morning and we went to church with my family. It was a very hot day so after lunch we visited and looked at pictures. Then Josh and my Dad went for a walk. I would have given anything to be there! :)
After they FINALLY got back we had to hurry and leave for a family gathering, we were late, thanks to either Josh or Dad. :)
After eating, playing some games and singing (I really have no idea how I had enough patience for all that) Josh and I went on a walk during which he asked me to marry him.
It was nothing fancy, but it was a moment I would not ever trade away! To those of you who are married or engaged you know how it feels, I can't think of words to describe it!
Josh and I got married 6 months later and we have grown more in love ever since. If I look at how much more I love Josh now then when we first got married (and I thought then that I loved him as much as I ever would) I can't wait to see how much more we will be in love in 2 years for now. Being married is amazing!!!

I love you so much Josh!!! And I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you. You truly are a gift from God!!

Swathing times Two

Well, with the sunshine out again we are getting busier on the farm, today Josh and Dad have been out swathing, it's surprising how fast it goes with two swathers on one field! It's actually quite fun. So here are some pictures that I took when I bought lunch out.

Until next time...

COMBINING!!!!

Ok, so I know that I NEVER do 2 posts in one day, not in even in the best of times, but I guess I was to busy and didn't get the swathing pictures posted before the next step came along. So here we are combining, I took Andrew out for a while, (he is 9 months old today), and he LOVED it!!
Last year on our first day of harvesting was the first time that I felt Andy move inside me, I'm sure glad that he no longer lives in there!! :) He is a busy little man!
I hope to post some more combining pictures in the future, it's kind of hard to hold a big baby and take pictures at the same time, so here are some cute ones of AJ's first look at harvest, he even got some barley dust in his hair, what little hair he has. :)

After we got home I wanted some pictures of Andrew in the pretty flowers, he was not impressed at all! I think he would rather be in the grain truck with Daddy! :)
